football is a game of strategy and heart

to get right you have to grind for 100 days 300 nights

you have to get the highlights

the team is a family everyone is apart

this sport is a dangerous art

on the field you have to earn rights

you earn that paper on those cold friday nights

but first you have to start

you have to work for it long hot summer days

in the fall you will see your work pay off

you have to get through the blaze

you will play through a little cough

you might have too miss some holidays

once you get to where you want to be takeoff
