“A Smile a Day…”

A figure, so strong, breaks my palisade,
With brown roots of flaxen-ended hair.
Of beauty that could halt a masquerade,
Features so stunning, gives feelings of light air.

Your gaze, your presence, so hard to compete.
Thou eyes, so... so mysterious and bronze,
Something hidden, that catches my heartbeat,
Inside, walls crumble as you raise the dawns.

Your smile, so beautiful, bold, and brave.
Thou beams the Heaven’s lights on my poor soul.
Although brilliant, I draw to my grave,
My only weakness, my heart, you have stole.

As I lie in wait for the perfect day,
I think of your smile, and waste away.
