“A Broken World”

The feeling for being disowned by family
Is nothing compared to feeling like charity
To think of the times you all could’ve had

Flash before your eyes,
They vanished.
Like a lightning bolt during a thunderstorm
The feeling of shock.

You would never believe that one rock
Left you for dead,
With not a care in the world.

He promised he would never leave,
But, his worlds always seemed to deceive
With a heart full of love I chose to proceed.

As my trust built towards him,
My world became very dim
Being gay was sin

Trying hard to be comfortable in your own skin.
It seemed like every day things got harder
To keep your secrets from you father.

Being gay was a sin,
And I regret saying anything.

To who I thought I could trust,
It all was a big bust
The stress bought upon me
I never wanted to be

Apart of this situation
Almost like I could see the cracking foundation,
Of my world coming down.
Meanwhile I’m here counting down
Till the days before I drown.

In sorrow, In pain
In gods name,
Being gay is NOT a sin.
